Our client is a young and fast growing online retailer serving the UK's Christian retail market, and providing related supplies to schools and churches. They are a marketing focused company, using a mix of online, social and traditional media to reach our target market of 5M+ customers.
The company is offering up to 4 placements in their marketing team, based in Chester, starting in August or September for 12 weeks. There is the possibility of permanent employment at the end of placement.
You will be working with the Marketing Manager to:
• Analyse previous sales activity to identify patterns and target associated segments within the customer base • Plan and co-ordinate targeted campaigns using a mixture of direct mail, email, social media (Twitter/Facebook) and SEO/SEM (Google/Yahoo!/Bing) • Track campaign performance and identify opportunities for future marketing • Write promotional content for marketing campaigns
The organisation is very fast paced so you'll learn a lot about online marketing in a short space of time. By working for a successful small/medium E-commerce business you’ll get hands-on experience right through from campaign inception to execution and reporting. You’ll learn how to use Google, Facebook, Twitter and Email to generate sales and build brand loyalty. You’ll also learn how to segment a customer database, plan a series of targeted marketing campaigns, measure the results, and use the results to improve your next campaign.
Applicants must be recent graduates with a relevant degree such as: Business Studies, English, Marketing -including market research-, or a statistical/research based degree such as Psychology.
